After a recent newsletter featured a link on how to customize special glass “Share a Coke” bottles, Aaron Chadbourne (2002) worked with The Coca-Cola Bottling Company of Northern New England to make some special bottles for his boss, Governor LePage. They presented the bottles to him in the Governor’s Cabinet Room of the Maine State House and he loved it!

2015 Scholars Timothy Lann, Cindy Rajkumar, Courtney Thurston, and Sydney Kamen took over the oval office at the Reagan Presidential Scholarship Retreat.
Coca-Cola Scholars came together in San Francisco for dinner.
Swire Coca-Cola in Denver played host to a 1st annual Coca-Cola Scholars Luncheon for local scholarship winners, their families, and program alumni. 6 local Scholars were offered a special meet and greet opportunity with Swire’s Denver leadership, an overview of Coca-Cola’s operations in Colorado, and a behind the scenes, eco-tour of the Stapleton distribution center. Each Scholar was recognized during the luncheon and presented with a commemorative Coca-Cola bottle. Over the past few months, local sales and team representatives visited each Coke Scholar’s school to present them with an award in front of their respective high school student bodies and lead administrators.
2015 Scholars Samantha Smith, Ashton Duke, Sharon Li, Perry Alagappan, Emily Ashkin, and 2014 Scholar Sharmila Paul met up at Torchy’s Tacos in Houston, Texas to share a Coke and some chips and queso.
Jolene Loetscher (1997) met up with fellow South Dakota Scholar Lane Blasius (2014) at Augustana College after she and her husband Nate did a photo shoot. Nate and Jolene are the owners of Mud Mile Communications and Lane’s college is one of their clients.
Erica Tuggle (2001) visited our office with adorable baby Jordan.
Scholars from classes 2009, 2010, 2011, 2014 and 2015 got together for pizza and cokes in Washington, D.C. to celebrate the 4th of July!
Hager Rand, President of Durham Coca-Cola Bottling Company, and Jean McGuire, his assistant, had lunch with Victoria Nneji (2010) to welcome her back to town following her graduation from Columbia University. Victoria will begin graduate school at Duke University this fall.
On a recent trip to Nashville, Jany Brown (1992) met up with good friend and fellow Scholar Kim Hagan (1992) and Graham Van Schaik (2008), who Jany named her son after.
While on vacation with his family in Tel Aviv, Jason Feldman (1990) was walking down the street and spotted Michael Tolkin (2003) in a cafe!
Albert Lawrence (2003) and Kevin Chung (1990) met up at Comic Con in San Diego.
