Jillian Roberts met up with Justin Elliot, a fellow 2011 Scholar in Koh Phi Phi, Thailand this summer!
Clay Smith, Eric Beeler, Emma Phillips, Joel Bervell, Halimo Hassan (2013 Scholars) were chosen as GE-Reagan Scholars and spent four days together in Simi Valley, California as part of their program. Out of 11,000 applicants, 20 students were selected, and five of those were Coke Scholars!! They said they enjoyed reminiscing about their Coke Scholars Weekend and making plans for the upcoming October Coca-Cola Scholars Leadership Summit!
The following Coke Scholars had the opportunity to reunite at the Alexander Hamilton Scholarship Gala at the Seattle Aquarium in Seattle, WA! Heather Bowerman (2002) and her company, Dot Labs, was featured on NASDAQ’s iconic billboard in Times Square; Eric Veal, Jr. (2022) was accepted to the Institute for Responsible Citizenship’s Class of 2025; and Kristina Skrela Gisonde (1999) was inducted into her company’s Hall of Fame
