Regional Interviews

In our third stage of selection, our Regional Interview Committee, comprised of staff and previous recipients, virtually interview our Regional Finalists across the country. Thank you to all who served on the committee and helped select the 34th class of Coca-Cola Scholars!

Jenny Kim (2009), Jane Hopkins (CCSF), Kaitlyn Chana (2009), and David Akinin (2008) interviewed students in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Puerto Rico, and South Carolina.
Jamie Williams (CCSF), Holly Sanchez Perry (2009), Elizabeth Grim (2005), and Martel Neville (1999) hosted interviews for Regional Finalists at Armed Forces bases and in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont
AJ Robinson (1990), LaQuanda Prince (CCSF), and Jordan Scarboro (2005), interviewed students in California.
Ericia Ward (CCSF), Iman Cooper (2011), and Daniel de Robles (1999) interviewed finalists in New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas.
Regional Finalists in D.C., Maryland, New Jersey, North Carolina, and Virginia were interviewed by Jeremy O’Brien (2012), Carolyn Norton (CCSF), Crystal Moore (2003), and Lulu Wang (2002).
Alaska, Arizona, Hawaii, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington students were interviewed by Ishan Johnson (2003), Lauren O’Brien (CCSF), Erica Glenn (2004), and Kevin Chung (1990).
Matthew Cheney (2001), Valery Dragon (2001), and LaQuanda Prince interviewed finalists in Illinois, Indiana, and Michigan.

Ben Anders (2007), C. Anthoney Lim (1997), and Ericia Ward (CCSF) interviewed Regional Finalists in Delaware, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.

Candice Gant (2006), Chantelle George (2006), and Jamie Williams (CCSF) interviewed students in Colorado, Iowa, Minnesota, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.

Evangeline Pattison (2002) and Jane Hopkins (CCSF) hosted interviews with students in Arkansas, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, and Tennessee.
